Hanging on the Couch......
Even at 11 months old, Lauren knows full
well to NEVER hold up the "we're # 1"
finger when you're in fact #30...bad Kate!!
Fist Victory in MONTHS....yeah!!!!!
This month also marks the first time, in Kate's existence, that Andrea was able to get Pony Tails into her hair, and it only took 2 years and 10 months!!! Apparently, this is very important......Lauren and I did not get it all, but Andrea and Kate were very excited. So excited in fact that Kate was running around the house saying "Look Dad......look at my "tony pails". Oh well....I understood!
Pony Tails AND a barrette.....wow!!!

And then there's the snow......we have a fair bit of snow hanging around these days. It's weird though......it kind of sneaks up on you, because it's not like we get 6 inches at a time. It just seems to snow a little bit all the time till it accumulates. As you can see above, Kate loves her "Dora Shovel", compliments of the Helesic Family for Christmas. She needs a fair bit of work on her technique, but truly enjoys being outside, no matter how cold it may be, to help with the shovelling.

...the Cheeseball smile.....LOVE IT!!!
Kate continues to LOVE skating (every Saturday) and we now make a trip most Sundays to the "Y" pool for some swimming. At the pool, she has her water wings and goggles (she calls them "gobbles"), which most people at the pool think is great....it's quite a look! We don't have pics of that yet, but will work on it next time.
That's it for now.....the Oilers game is still 0-0, so I better sign off before our February record goes to 1-1.

Loving the "tony pails"! Too cute. That smile of Lauren's cracks me up every time.
ReplyDeleteUmmm....can you send Kate & her shovel to Calgary b/c we haven't shoveled our driveway in a LONG time. Not sure Dora could tough it out. Might need a pickaxe!
