Really? Come on now.....

Everyone told us to expect the unexpected when it comes to weather in Fort McMurray. Not that we didn't believe them, but we did have a pretty mild winter, and spring came early.....life was good! And then it happened.......snow.....in April.....LOTS OF SNOW! It started snowing on Thursday night, it's now Saturday, and it's still coming! I have definitely gotten my use out of the snowblower over the past couple days......having done driveways for a bunch of neighbors, it's been pretty good! So far, they say we've gotten about 45cm of snow.....and the forecast calls for snow thru to Wednesday. Not good! What's funny is that Andrea raked the lawn last week.....it was starting to green up! And now this......

And, after visiting for Easter, cousin Sydney wanted to stay up for a couple days to play and help with the girls. Andrea MUCH APPRECIATED the help, as Syd is excellent with the girls. Below is a quick shot of them hanging out. She's lucky she headed back South before the snow hit, as she definitely wasn't packed for cold/snow type weather!
