Poppa Russ & Gramma Lynne Head North....

Poppa Russ and Gramma Lynne made the trek up to FMM a few weeks back, and as always, the kids were very excited to see them both. Originally, they were slated to arrive Saturday afternoon, but decided to make the drive all the way, and arrived late on Friday night. When the kids woke up, Kate looked downstairs and said "Daddy.....I think there's someone down there!" When she saw who it was, she was pumped!

The visit was fairly low key, but the weather was excellent, and allowed for a lot of outside time. There was pool time, golf time, smoker time, and just hangin' on the deck enjoying the weather time. AND, most importantly, Russ and Lynne brought up our Margarita maker, so we made our share of nice, cool, lime tequila treats! And as much as it pains me, I have to pass out a huge THANKS to Dewey, who was more than generous in passing out his patented recipe, and shipping up the secret ingredient (the agave nector is the ticket).

It's always GREAT having a few extra hands around, as Lauren pretty much runs everywhere these days, and is still scared of nothing. Keeping tabs on her and keeping Kate entertained is more or less a full time gig, so thanks for making the drive up guys.....we really appreciate it, and you're more than welcome back anytime!!!!
