Halloween in FMM

We had some very real fears of snow again for Halloween......as last year, the day prior, we put up the Christmas lights, enjoyed the sun in our shirts, and had a great day. Then we woke to about 2 feet of snow. So again, yesterday, we were outside, putting up the Christmas lights, cleaning the garage/yard.....thinking we would get hit again. But no......we lucked out with about +7 temperature, and a very good evening of Trick or Treating!

The kids were very excited about the whole event......Kate was excited as she knew there would be bountiful candy. Lauren was excited because Kate was excited. But, they got their costumes on and headed out with Andrea to tour the neighborhood. They returned a short time later, as their small candy carrying devices were overfull! So, after a quick unload, they headed out for round two. This time they returned with Kate eating a bag of Dorito's, and Lauren taking down some Cheezies. Good work!!

We also had some guests a few weeks back.....Brenda, Jared, and Syd made the trek up for a quick weekend visit. Ed was working that weekend, and Andrea was away (again....sheesh!!!) on a girls weekend, so it was good to have the help, and get some visiting in. Both kids were all over the cousins, and I think Syd was needing a rest upon leaving, as she was continually bombarded with the little beasts!!!
