...laying low.....

What's new in FMM? Not much.....not much at all. Summer has arrived, and our weather has been spectacular.....mid to high 20's daily, with little to no wind. We're already able to enjoy some good family dinners out on the deck.....which Kate seems to love. The bouncy castle gets daily workouts.....by both Kate and Lauren. Lauren just seems to copy everything that her big sister does.....Kate jumps, Lauren try's to jump. Kate falls, Lauren falls. Pretty funny to see her now fully mobile, and just tracking her sister's every move.

The big house upgrade last week had us replacing our entire driveway/sidewalk. Not sure what the deal was, but to say it was falling apart would be a HUGE understatement. So I was able to source a guy to take care of the whole deal for me.....removal of the old one, and pouring of the new exposed aggregate. It was done on Thursday, and looks fabulous. The exterior is starting to look very good!

Golf season is also now fully upon us, and Andrea is very excited about its coming! She is going to do her best to play ladies league every week.....her golf has been a bit on the back burner with the girls over the past couple summers, but she was at the range last week and stated "the bug is back". I was also able to sneak to Fairmont with the boys for a few rounds this past weekend.......we enjoyed some amazing weather, some amazing golf, and likely a few too many beverages.

The upcoming weekend....the May long weekend, will mark the first time in over 6 years that we have not gone camping. We both have been doing a bit of travelling (Andrea to Montreal with her girlfriends, and me to the Valley) and just figured we'd stay close to home for a few days. We were hoping the weather would hold out for us, but so far, the forecast is for rain. Oh well......if it's nice, we'll try get in a round of golf. If not, it will be a nice, low key weekend at/around the house.
